The Pearl Pearl Roadster Multi-Core Saddle drum throne essentially takes all the best bits of a round seat, and all of the best bits of a saddle seat and mashes them together to offer the ultimate in comfort and ergonomic support. When compared to regular saddle-seats, the shaping of the Roadster frees up your thighs, and reduces 'pinching', while the round-seat-style upper surface provides more room to shift around. The comfort that this throne offers has been in development for three years, ensuring that any drummer receives just the right amount of support in all the right places.

The secret weapon of this throne-to-rule-all-thrones lies in the Multi-Core seat. Constructed from multiple layers of high-density foam, the foundation is consistently retained, even after long playing sessions. The height is adjusted via a spindle system with memory lock, and can be set at a minimum height of 495mm and maximum height of 665mm, and the seat can either be set to naturally rotate as you move, or set up in a fixed position as preferred. To enhance the comfort even further, the D-3500 can be upgraded by the addition of the compatible Pearl backrest - or you can just skip a step and go for the all-in-one D-3500BR throne complete with pre-installed backrest.
